JHAPA: Two tuskers went on a rampage at Shanti Tole of Bhadrapur Municipality, Jhapa, on Thursday night.

Two elephants from Charali Forest area destroyed the houses of Ramchandra Rajbanshi, Khadga Bahadur Kafle, Dal Bahadur Shrestha and Padam Prasad Adhikary.

Police said roperty worth Rs one lakh was destroyed. Police, locals and staffers from District Forest Office chased away the tuskers back to the forest on Friday morning.
