TANAHUN: Two male bodies caught in a whirlpool at Trishuli river were discovered by the locals of Devghat Rural Municipality in Tanahun, today.

According to police, one of the deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Min Bahadur Gurung of Byas Municipality-13, Tanahun. Gurung had drowned while he was off fishing at Belbas in the Municipality.

Identity of another man is yet to be ascertained, police said.

Meanwhile, preparations to take the bodies to Damauli Hospital for autopsy are underway, police said.
