Two dead, one injured in three separate incidents in Banke
KHAJURA: Two persons died and one sustained injuries in three separate incidents in various locations of Banke district on Saturday.
According to police, Sandeep Juwal (25), of Parasi Municipality-9 in Nawalparasi district, died after he was hit by a falling machine at a cement factory in Janaki Rural Municipality in the district.
The incident occurred when a machine he was trying to install at the Ganapur-based Bageshwori Cement Industry, fell upon him, informed police.
Seriously injured Juwal was rushed to Kohalpur Medical College where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment last night, according to Banke police chief Tek Bahadur Tamang.
Similarly, a person died after the motorcycle she was riding on met with an accident in Baijanath Rural Municipality of the district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mangala Sunar (19) of Baskot in Narayan Municipality-9 of Dailekh district.
The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Bhe 4 Pa 6860) lost control due to over-speeding at the Rangila Chok yesterday at midnight, killing pillion rider Sunar, informed police.
The injured motorcycle rider Sujan Rawat (27), a local resident, was rushed to Kohalpur Medical College where he is undergoing treatment, according to the District Police Office.
Meanwhile, a person was found dead near Rangila Chowk in Baijanath Rural Municipality-5 in Banke district on Saturday.
The identity of the deceased has yet to be ascertained, informed police.
A police team has been dispatched to the incident site and the detailed report has yet to come, according to the Kohalpur Police Office.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the cases are undergoing, said police.
