Two bodies found eddying in Seti River gorge

DAMAULI: Two bodies have been found swirling in a gorge of the Seti River in Shuklagandaki Municipality-8 of Tanahun district on Monday morning.

The bodies that appeared to be of a man and a woman were found eddying in the river in Dulegauda at around 10: 30 am today, according to the Inspector Rajendra Adhikari at Belchautara-based Area Police Office (APO).

Local residents immediately informed police of the bodies they had noticed in the gorge.

Meanwhile, a team from the APO has been deployed to take out the bodies from the river.

It has become difficult to reach the decomposed bodies since the river is in flood due to the incessant rainfall last night, Inspector Adhikari added.

Police have presumed that the body might have been swept away from Kaski.
