RAUTAHAT: Police arrested two persons with customs evaded clothes from Garuda Municipality, Rautahat, on Wednesday.

The arrestees have been identified as Anirudra Prasad Yadav of Sitalpur Bairganiya and Suresh Yadav of Kopawa Pipariya, of the district.

Rautahat District Police Office said a police patrol team deployed from Area Police Office, Garuda arrested the duo while they were smuggling clothes in a vehicle with an Indian number plate.

DSP Rajendra Pokhrel, of DPO, said the arrestees, along with the confiscated clothes and vehicle were handed over to Revenue Investigation Office, Pathliya, for investigation.
