BHOJPUR: Two houses were gutted in a fire in different places of Sunsari district on Saturday.

According to Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, property worth around Rs 400,000 owned by Suraj Rai in Bharaul VDC-4 turned into ashes after the fire broke out in the house due to cooking gas leakage.

Meanwhile, property worth around Rs 50,000 was engulfed in flames after a fire broke out suddenly in the house of Sukadev Rajak in Hariharpur VDC-9 of the district.
