DAMAULI: Two people were critically injured when a house caught fire at Nibuwatari of Byas Municipality in Tanahun district.

According to Tanahun District Police Office, the injured are Laxmi Mishra (45) and Dakshina Mishra (18).

The fire broke out shortly after a short circuit on Monday afternoon. Occupants were inside the house at the time, police added.

Property worth Rs 600,000, including Rs 25,000 cash and jewelleries, were destroyed in the incident, police informed.
