Two Indian nationals arrested in possession of explosives
DHADING: Police in Dhading district on Friday morning arrested two Indian nationals along with explosive substances including pressure cooker and a socket bomb from a bus en route from Kakadbhitta to Kathmandu, at Naubise in Dhunibesi Municipality.
The arrested have been identified as Raju Mishra (23) of Assam, the northeastern state of India and Mohammad Farman Ali (31) of West Bengal, the eastern state.
Acting on a tip-off, police confiscated one pressure cooker bomb, two socket bombs and raw explosives from their possession during a security check in the bus (Na 7 Kha 4976) at Khanikhola, in Superintendent of Police Dhruba Raj Raut at the District Police Office said.
Meanwhile, the arrested duo have been handed over to the District Police Office, Dhading for further investigaiton into the case.
The duo were transporting the explosives to Kathmandu.
