DHADING: Two persons, who were injured in a bus accident in Khalte of Dhading district on Monday evening, succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as Madhav Adhikari (45) and Santosh Jamkattel (5), according to DSP Dipendra Panjiyar of the Dhading District Police Office. They were rushed to the Bir Hospital for treatment.

At least 24 people were injured in the accident yesterday.

As many as 16 among the injured have been taken to the National Trauma Centre in Kathmandu for treatment.
