GULMI: Two children were killed on the spot when a stray bomb they were playing with suddenly went off in Darling VDC of Gulmi on Saturday afternoon.

According to District Police Office of Gulim, the deceased children have been identified as Bom Bahadur BK (11), the son of Bhim Bahadur, and Hom Bahadur BK (11), the son of Mansingh.

The children had gone to a forest in Sanodaha area of the VDC to graze goats when they found a stray bomb. They started playing with it and it ultimately cost them their lives. The site of the tragedy is a day's walk from district headquarter Tamgash. The children were found dead at the spot when their families went searching for them after their failure to return home till late in the evening.
