Rupandehi, November 21:

Two youths were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on rammed into a stationary truck at Jeetgadhi in Butwal on Monday night. Motorcyclist Kiran Shrestha of Rupandehi-6 was killed on the spot while pillion rider Rabi Gurung died while undergoing treatment in Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Area Police Office (APO) Butwal said.

DSP Suk Dev Neupane said the accident occurred as the motorcycle was in high speed. The relatives and neighbours of the youths disrupted traffic on the highway for some time on Tuesday saying the bodies were removed from the highway before the family members could arrive at the incident site. The truck has been seized, police said.
