Bara, August 1:

Two persons were killed and three others injured when a truck (Na 3 Kha 1015) en route to Birgunj from Pathlaiya, Bara, hit another truck (Na 2 Kha 9917), which was parked on the premises of Tanbir Oil Store at Simara-2 along the Pathlaiya-Birgunj road section last night.

Bijendra Chaudhari, 30, of Bara Sapahi, the driver of BIrgunj-bound truck and Jeet Bahadur Waiba of Simara-9, passenger of the parked truck were killed on the spot, Area Police Office, Simara said. Critically injured Mangal Chaudhari has been taken to the capital for treatment while two others, Keshav Gurung and Subash Waiba, 13, are undergoing treatment.
