SINDHULI: Two people died on the spot and seven others were injured after a jeep carrying passengers skidded off the road at Pipal Bhanyang of Sindhuli along the BP Highway on Wednesday.

The incident occurred after the jeep operated by Ratu Kamalamai Transport Committee, heading for Bardibas from Kathmandu went out of control at steep turn and fell about 300 meters below the road killing two passengers and injuring seven others, according to the District Police Office Sindhuli said.

It is yet to ascertain the identities of the accident victims, Sub-inspector Subash Chandra Bohara at the DPO said.
