RAUTAHAT: Two kids have lost their lives after a tractor’s trailer rammed them in Gadhimai Municipality, Rautahat on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as 8-year-old Ravi Raj Das and 5-year-old Bikas Baitha of Gadhimai Municipality-2.

Both Das and Baitha stood at the fateful site of sugarcane crushing factory where a tractor bearing registration Na 3 Ta 6284 was filling pits with soil, soon after its hydraulics came apart and its trailer detached landing on top, killing them.

The tractor driver has been detained, police said.
