RAUTAHAT: Two unidentified persons were found dead in Garuda Municipality and Madhav Narayan Municipality in the district on Thursday.

According to police, locals discovered the dead bodies of two unidentified males and informed law enforcement officers.

A man of around 30 years old was lying dead with marks in his neck in a paddy field at madhav Narayan Municiaplity, informed officials.

Police suspect that the person was murdered elsewhere and dumped in the paddy field. Further investigation into the case is underway, according to Superintendent of Police Kedar Dhakal.

Likewise, a man of around 35 years old was found dead in a drain along Gaur Chandranigahpur road section.

The deceased’s bodies have been taken to Gaur Hospital for autopsy, informed police.
