At least two Bol Bom pilgrims were killed after a bus met with an accident at Jamui City of Bihar, India on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Saroj Sah, 21, of Bhasedhawa VDC and Prem Sah, 40, of Katahariya VDC of the district. According to the District Police Office, Rautahat the critically injured breathed their last while undergoing treatment in a Patna-based hospital, India.

At least 50 persons of Katahariya Bazaar had reserved a bus for Devhghat of Jharkhanda, India a week ago. The pilgrims met with the accident at Jamui city of Bihar state while they were returning after performing pooja at the temple on Thursday night.

It is said that Saroj and Prem, who were sleeping on the roof of the bus, fell off the bus as the driver jammed on the breaks at the sight of speed-breaker. Both of them had received deep cut injuries to their heads. The body of Saroj was handed over to the kin after postmortem at Chandranigahapur Hopsital on Friday evening.

Inspector Santulal Prasad Jaiswal of Area Police Office, Garuda said they are preparing to hand over the bodies of the deceased to relatives.
