KAILALI: Two teenage boys drowned while taking bath in the Kandra River of Kailali district on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Singh Kathayat (15) of Ghodaghodi Municipality-10 in the district and his cousin Suresh Dhami (18) of Masta in Bajhang district.

The duo drowned while taking bath in the Kandra River at around 5 pm yesterday, according to Kailali District Police Office.

Dhami had been staying at his maternal uncle's house at Ghodaghodi, said police.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been sent to the Seti Zonal Hospital, informed Shukar-based Area Police Office.
