ITAHARI: Two teenagers were found dead in a river at Duhabi Municipality-4 in Sunsari district on Sunday.

Police have identified the deceased as Akash Kumar Sah (14) of Laukahi in Sunsari district and Sajan Chaudhary (11) of Khanar-14 in Itahari.

The locals informed the police after they had spotted the bodies of the teenagers floating in the Budhikhola  river today morning.

According to the Duhabi-based Area Police Offce, both of them were visiting their relatives in Duhabi Municipality-4 in the district. Sah was visiting his elder sister's house and Chaudhary to his maternal uncle's house.

The relatives had lost communications with the two boys since Saturday afternoon, said the Duhabi APO.

The investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
