KATHMANDU, JUNE 2

The medical supplies donated by the government of UAE to support Nepal in tackling the second wave of COvid-19 pandemic have arrived in Kathmandu today.

The shipment delivered consisted of 150 ventilators, 150 trolleys, 318,600 masks, 9,000 coverall, 15,000 gown and 20,000 goggles, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal (MoFA) took to twitter to confirm the same, while a press release was also issued on Wednesday.

Nepal government had requested for international aid amid scarcity of resources to battle the massive outbreak of the infection, responding to which the UAE laid out a helping hand.

"The Government of Nepal expresses its gratitude to the Government of United Arab Emirates for the generous support that complements our efforts for treatment, prevention and control of the pandemic," Nepal government stated.
