GAIGHAT: Ward member of Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality in Udayapur district, Ram Bahadur Magar, who had gone missing for two days, has been found dead in a local river today.

The body of Magar, a resident of the rural municipality's ward no. 3, was reportedly found floating in Saipakhola.

It has been reported that locals immediately informed police of the body they noticed floating near the riverbank, at around 8:00 am today.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Nawaraj Bhatta.
