RAJBIRAJ: Protesting Madhesi parties of Saptari district have staged a torch rally while continuing their protest in Rajbiraj today.

The rally started from the premises of local Shiva Temple and circled around various parts of the town before concluding as a corner meeting at the Sahid Darshan Chok in the district.

Speaking at the function, leaders affiliated to the United Democratic Madhesi Front expressed their dissatisfaction and anger toward some Madhes-based political parties for joining the government and participating in the voting process to elect the new prime minister.

They said there is no point in joining the government as Madhesi people are in protests. They also demanded to withdraw their decision of joining the government.
