UDMF senior leaders leave for New Delhi
KATHMANDU: Seniors leaders of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) left for New Delhi of India on Sunday.
Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Chairman Mahantha Thakur, Vice-Chairman Hridayesh Tripathi and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav among other leaders had left for the Indian capital at 9 am today.
Though the leaders had left for New Delhi to attend a programme, it has been learned that they would also meet leaders of various political parties there.
The UDMF has been demanding amendments in the newly adopted constitution including the issue of provincial boundaries.
