BIRGUNJ: United Democratic Madhesi Front took out a stick rally in Birgunj on Wednesday.

The rally was organised as per the front’s decision on February 13. The rally started from Ghantaghar and made round of the city before converging into a corner meeting.

Addressing the corner meeting, district chairman of the front Pradip Yadav of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Parsa said their agitation would continue until the government addressed their demands.

Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal central vice-chair Lalbabu Raut Gaddi, central member Birendra Yadav, Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Parsa district vice-chair Jata Shankar Gupta along with cadres and leaders of National Madhes Socialist Party participated in the rally.
