UML bags Baglung-1

CPN-UML candidate Ramji Prasad Sharma has won in Baglung Constituency No 1. He secured 15,797 votes.
“Sharma’s nearest rival Chandra Bahadur Buda of the Maoists got 14,386 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Hari Prasad Shrestha bagged 12,018 votes, Rastriya Janamorcha candidate Amar Thapa got 2,992 votes,” the District Election Office said. CPN-UML took out a victory rally in Baglung bazaar this evening.
As per the information, 50 per cent of counting was completed in Constituency No 2 and 10 per cent of counting was completed in Constituency No 3 till this evening.
NC is leading the vote-count in Constituencies No 2 and 3 in the district. Rastriya Janamorcha is in second position in Constituency No 2 and UML is in second position in Constituency No 3. “The counting of both the constituencies will be completed tomorrow,” the District Election Office said.
