KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 20

CPN-UML chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that a government led by his party will be formed by December 1.

Talking to mediapersons after casting his vote at Mahendra Shanti School in Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur on Sunday, Oli claimed that the UML will garner majority votes in this election.

"The UML will form a majority government, or at least a coalition government comprising parties that have forged an alliance with UML in the elections," he said.

Meanwhile, he also said that the new parties will not be able to gather enough votes to become even national parties, leave alone being a threat.

The former Prime Minister is a candidate from Jhapa-5 for the House of Representatives.
