NAWALPARASI: Two persons lost their lives in a road accident at Dumkibas in Nawalpur along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

According to police, the victims died on the spot after a Bolero jeep heading west in Nawalpur (Lu 1 Ta 9759) welted a motorcycle (Lu 20 pa 517) coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased have been identified as 33-year-old Jagat Bahadur Pariyar of Pyuthan residing at Kawasoti Municipality and his 10-year-old nephew Bijay Pariyar.

Police have detained the jeep driver and impounded the automobile.
