KATHMANDU, JUNE 11

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nepal has provided medical equipment and supplies to the government to help it tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Issuing a press release, Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Resident Representative to the UNDP Nepal, Ayshanie Medagangoda-Labé handed over the supplies to senior officials of the Ministry of Health and Population amid a programme today.

The material assistance included 200 units of Bio Medical Oxygen Concentrators 5L and 200 units of Bio Medical Oxygen Concentrators 10L.

The equipment will be distributed to authority across all seven Provinces.

Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Population, UNDP and WHO were present at the handover ceremony.
