UNICEF distributes relief to Rautahat flood victims

UNICEF distributed relief materials to victims in the flood-hit areas of Rautahat, today.
Relief materials were distributed to 2,050 flood victims in Gaur, Isanath, Maulapur and Durga Bhagawati municipalities and Yamuna Mai Rural Municipality.
WASH Coordinator Rajan Kumar Sah said tents, hygiene kit, medicated mosquito nets and blankets, among other materials, were provided to the flood victims.
According to Sah, the relief materials were distributed to 458 families in Durga Bhagawati Rural Municipality, 350 in Yamuna Rural Municipality, 200 in Ishanath Municipality, 700 in Gaur Municipality and 20 in Maulapur Municipality.
Similarly, Durga Bhagawati Rural Municipality also distributed relief materials to flood victims in all five wards of the rural municipality.
Chairman Arun Sah and Ward Chairman Dhamendra Kumar Jha of Matshari Rural Municipality jointly handed over relief materials to the flood victims today. Rice, cooking oil, pulses, salt and water jars, among others, were distributed.
