‘United for election’

RAJBIRAJ: Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairperson Upendra Yadav on Wednesday termed the upcoming provincial and parliamentary elections as a battle. He said various Madhes-centred forces were united to fight the war.  After his candidacy for parliamentary election from Constituency No 2 of Saptari was confirmed,Yadav told his party activists that they had to unitedly use all means to defeat their rivals in the battlefield. He argued that he had decided to fight in the polls from Saptari as per the interest and aspiration of the Madhesi people. Yadav claimed he was proud to contest the election from the district, which was the focal point of the Madhes movement. Yadav said economic revolution was a must, besides political revolution, to relieve the Madhes from backwardness. He underscored the need to institutionalise past achievements through the forthcoming election and move ahead. — HNS
