CHANDRAUTA, FEBRUARY 15
The identities of the ten individuals who tragically lost their lives in the road accident near Surahi Bridge of Shivraj Municipality-1 in Kapilvastu this morning have been disclosed.
The deceased are: Narayan Bahadur Bhandari from Rautahat Arjun Kumar Yogi from Salyan; Sakil Muslim from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India; Rahulram Kami ,Umesh Bhandari, Sanju Thapa, Khageshwari Khati, Sudeep Bhatta from Bhimdatta Municipality; Kina Bhatt from Punarwas Municipality; and Bimaladevi Bhatt from Punarwas Municipality.
The accident occurred around 1:00 am when a passenger bus (Su-Pa-Pra-02-001 Ba 0098) operated by Sunaulo Mahakali Transport veered off the road, plunging approximately 200 meters below.
The bus was en route from Mahendranagar to Kathmandu.
Additionally, thirty individuals sustained injuries and are undergoing medical treatment.
