RAJBIRAJ: Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal candidate Upendra Yadav has been elected to the parliament from Saptari Constituency No 2.

Common candidate of the electoral alliance between the FSF-N and Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal, Yadav secured 21,620 votes to defeat closest contender CPN-Maoist Centre's Umesh Kumar Yadav representing the left alliance. Umesh Kumar got 11,583 votes.
