JHAPA: A pedestrian died when a pick up van knocked him at Suryodaya municipality in Ilam on Thursday night.

The victim has been identified as Ghising Elmo, 18, of Suryodaya municipality-8, of the district.

He breathed his last while being rushed to Birtamode Hospital on Friday morning.

Van driver has been arrested and the vehicle has been impounded.
