RAUTAHAT:

VDC secretaries in Rautahat, who had tendered their resignations, have called off their agitation and returned to their respective offices after the district administration and representatives of the seven political parties assured that they would be provided security. Some 96 VDC secretaries had put in papers a month ago.

CDO Durga Prasad Bhandari said that the VDC secretaries, who had quit to protest lawlessness and rise in crimes in the district, had returned to their work stations.
