BIRGUNJ: Locals of nine VDCs in the district are compelled to live in darkness after the electricity cables snapped disrupting power supply to the areas five days ago. Locals of Amarpatti, Barba, Dhore, Mahuban, Madhubani, among other VDCs, are forced to live in darkness after the power supply was disrupted. Strong winds on Monday night snapped the power cables. The Nepal Electricity Authority office, Birgunj stated they were working to restore power supply to the VDCs.
