LAHAN: Siraha police have impounded a van for illegally ferrying several goods from Golbazaar of the district on Friday.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Golbazaar, took the van (Na 1 Ja 4278) under control after it was found evading tax.

The van carried various goods including saws, kitchenware and betel nuts.

Both the vehicle and the driver have been sent to the Itahari-based Eastern Regional Office of Department of Revenue Investigations for further investigation.
