Verdict on NSP (A) case on Monday

Kathmandu, March 26:

The Supreme Court is set to announce its verdict on authenticity of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandi Devi) on Monday.

A division bench of Justices Kalyan Shrestha and Damodar Prasad Sharma scheduled the date after completion of hearing today.

The NSP (A) had filed a petition challenging the decision of the Election Commission to reject its closed list for the proportional representation.

Treasurer of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandi Devi), Tej Kanta Jha, had filed the petition claiming that the NSP led by Anandi Devi is the official Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandi Devi) and not the one led by Shyam Sundar Gupta.

It has said that the closed list of candidates for the proportional representation election system submitted by Gupta-led party is not the authentic one.
