Viral influenza infection causes school closure in Palpa
PALPA: The Gorakhnath Secondary School Mitthal, Palpa has been closed down for three days after the infection of viral influenza among the students of the school.
The teaching and learning was affected in the school when the students here grew symptoms like headache, fever, cough and neck pain for the past one week, said school teacher Bhuwan Thapa.
A team headed by senior assistant health worker of the District Health Office, Palpa, Iswori Prasad Neupane is rendering treatment to the students.
Some 124 students and 20 teachers/staffs were detected with infection of viral influenza in course of the health examination, said chief of health post Min Bahadur Rana.
The District Health Office has provided free of cost treatment to students and teachers inflected with viral influenza.
