Voter education volunteers reach voters' doorsteps
KATHMANDU: The voter education volunteers have started reaching out to the doorsteps of voters with the message of civic polls scheduled for coming May 14.
The volunteers would educate voters and candidates for a month on casting votes and handling leadership after election victory.
The Election Commission has mobilised 21,000 social mobilisers, women health volunteers and teachers across the country for voter education purpose.
Details of polling booths had come to the Election Commission from all 75 districts and the number of polling centres would be finalised within a couple of days, the Election Commission stated.
