Voter turnout in the House of Representatives (HoR) Election–2026 reached 33.41 percent by 2:00 pm today, according to the Election Commission (EC).
The EC's reporting system recorded 6,316,215 votes cast by that time, said Assistant Spokesperson Kul Bahadur GC. Voting has been taking place enthusiastically at polling centres across the country.
Earlier, around 18 percent turnout was recorded by 12:00 noon, with 3,163,736 votes cast, EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said.
Polling began at 7:00 am nationwide and is continuing in most areas. However, voting could not take place at one polling centre in Dolakha, while minor disputes were reported at some centres, though voting is continuing there, according to the commission.
