KALIKOT: A woman died of consuming poison in Syuna VDC in Kalikot district on Tuesday night.

It has been learned that Forty-year-old Maina Shahi of Syuna VDC-5 consumed poison after a family feud.

Shahi breathed her last while being rushed to a hospital.

Last month, Ishwori Shahi of Syuna VDC-6 died after consuming poison while Yagyapur Shahi of Syuna VDC-4 had attempted to consume the poison.

Meanwhile, the Area Police Office, Syuna, has asked the local traders and chemists not to sale the poisonous items haphazardly.
