JANAKPUR: A woman died while her husband sustained critical injuries after being hit by an unidentified bus in Janakpur on Sunday.

According to the District Police Office (DPO), Dhanusha, Shambhu Sah (45) and his wife Pramila Sah (42) were taking a morning walk when the bus hit them near Pidari at around 4:30 am.

Police said that Pramila died on spot.

Inspector Gunraj Budhathoki of the DPO informed that preparations are underway to take Shambu to Kathmandu for treatment.

Police said that they are searching for the vehicle and its driver.
