JHAPA: A woman killed her husband after tying his throat with a shawl at Damak Municipality in Jhapa on Wednesday night.

Naresh Raut, a resident of Bihar, India, who was currently living in the municipality was murdered by his wife Durga Mandal.

Locals said the couple used to fight over minor issues under the influence of alcohol almost daily.

He was killed while sleeping, said police.
