DANG: A woman has been allegedly manhandled by her kin on charge of witchcraft in Dang district today.

She has been identified as Laxmi BK, a permanent resident of Lamahi Municipality-4 in the district.

According to police, she was thrashed by her brother-in-law Krishna and sister-in-law Keshari.

After the incident, BK had registered a complaint at the Lamahi Ward Police Office on Wednesday, seeking justice.

Inspector Suraj Khadka at the Ward Police Office said that those involved in the incident would be booked as per the existing law if their involvement was confirmed.
