DANG: Body of a woman has been found floating in a dam of an irrigation project here in Deukhuri of Dang district.

The body was found stuck in a dam of Praganna Irrigation Project located in the Rapti River in Rapti Rural Municipality-1 on Monday, according to Bhaluwang-based Area Police Office.

The woman who appeared to be in her late 20s is yet to be identified, said police. The woman is five feet tall and has a yellow ring on her middle finger and an iron ring on another finger. There is a stud in her nose.

She has features of a Mongoloid race with Yamakala written in her right hand. Police have appealed to anyone searching for a woman with such features to immediately contact the nearest authority.
