RAUTAHAT: A worker was electrocuted at Baba Baijunath Sugar and Chemicals Mill in Katahariya Municipality in Rautahat district today.

Pramod Yadav (30), a permanent resident of Katahariya Municipality-7 in the district died on the spot on Monday evening while connecting wires in the under construction Sugar Mill, police confirmed.

The body has been sent to the Gaur District Hospital for postmortem, according to Garuda Area Police Office In-Charge, Inspector Keshav Regmi.
