RAJBIRAJ: Dinesh Kumar Yadav has been elected district president of Nepali Congress in Saptari.

Yadav is close to senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. He got 611 votes and secured his second term in office.

His rival received 507 votes.

Similarly, while Ram Kumar Yadav from the establishment faction was elected district secretary with 563 votes, Shiva Narayan Chaudhary of the establishment faction was elected treasurer with 572 votes.
