Yadav leads biz delegation to Germany
Kathmandu, March 11:
Minister for Foreign Affairs Upendra Yadav today left for Germany to visit several German cities from March 8-17. Yadav is leading a 16-member Nepali high-level business delegation.
The visit is organised by Nepal-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Industries,
GTZ Nepal and Nepal Tourism Board.
The major objective of the delegation is to promote and develop a stronger relationship between professionals of the business communities of both the countries in major areas of business — investment, hydropower, tourism, trade and industry, according to a foreign ministry statement.
The delegation will be visiting Berlin, Munich and Bonn with extensive programmes, presentations on investment opportunities in Nepal, Nepal-German economic activities and other sectoral presentation on energy and hydropower, Nepali tea, coffee, agro-products and tourism. The delegates will also have meetings with organisations concerned there.
