DHADING: A person died from an electric shock in Siddhalek Rural Municipality-5 of Dhading district on Monday.

Police have identified the deceased as local Bishnu Shrestha (27).

According to police, Shrestha got the electric shock when he was connecting a water heater to the electricity board in the bathroom of his residence at Bungchung yesterday afternoon, critically injuring him. It has been learnt that he was preparing to take a bath with hot water when the incident occurred.

Shrestha breathed his last on the way to Gajuri-based Primary Health Centre for treatment, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prakash Bista at District Police Office, Dhading.
