BHOJPUR: A person died on the spot after he fell off a moving truck at Mamling VDC in Shankhuwashaba on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as driver’s helper Raju Limbu, 25, of Ramailo VDC in Morang. The accident occurred when the truck was heading towards Dharan from Shankuwashaba, said police.

The cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed, according to the police.

Meanwhile, police have taken the truck and its driver under control. Further investigation into the incident is under way, police said.
