LAMJUNG: A youth, who went missing a week ago, was found dead on the banks of Marshyandi River in Sundarbazar Municipality, Lamjung on Wednesday.

The youth has been identified as Aakash Magar, 25, of Aaitapuri VDC, Chitwan. Magar had received a deep cut on his head.

The locals had informed the police immediately after they saw the body. Primary investigation shows that the youth might have been hit with a sharp weapon.

Meanwhile, Inspector Kamal Bahadur Rajaure of District Police Office, Lamjung said as many as eight suspects, including two males, were arrested for investigation.
